Work on the yearbook takes place during the spring semester’s Publications course. Students taking Publications meet during the fall to begin developing a theme for the year. At the start of the spring semester, a representative from Herff Jones meets with the students and demonstrates how to use the software for digitally creating the yearbook. Throughout the semester, students work to gather photos, design layouts and write copy for their assigned pages.
