September 19 and 26, 2010 Home Visits. Invitations mailed in August

Open House. Applicant packets picked up by prospective applicants. 4:30 - 7:00 p.m.

Friday, November 19, 2010
 Application form due to SJA with
- Parent letter
- $45 non-refundable testing fee
- Current photo
Saturday, December 4, 2010
 Placement test at SJA at 8 a.m.
- Students report to Activity Center by 7:45 a.m.
- Test completed by 11:30 a.m.
Friday, December 10, 2010 Letters mailed with appointment for applicant/parent interview
January 2011 SJA receives admissions test results, which will be mailed with response in March
Tuesday - Thursday, January 4-6, 2011 Applicant/parent interviews
Friday, January 7, 2011 Letters sent to elementary schools requesting records on applicants.

January/Early February 2011

 SJA principal visits elementary schools regarding applicants.
SJA committee reviews application information.

 Deadline for returning registration forms and fees
Tuesday, March 15, 2011
Information Extravaganza informational meeting in the Activity Center: Incoming freshmen and their parents complete online course requests.
Saturday, March 19, 2011
 Auditions for CHS Band, CHS Band Room. Time to be announced.
Tuesday, March 22, 2011
Proficiency testing for incoming freshmen requesting Geometry Honors, French II or Spanish II - time to be announced. Auditions for placement in ballet also scheduled.
Friday, May 13, 2011 Letters sent to elementary schools requesting final records on incoming 9th graders.

Summer 2011

Session I: June 6-10 or
Session II: June 13-17
Times to be announced

One-week computer orientation for incoming freshmen and new students.
